This is MOM. The past weekend at the Fond du Lac Kennel Club dog shows was our first time in MOM at the dog shows. It was the right thing to do. We had our own bed, tvs, food and exercise pens right outside our door. It was very cold in the first night but the coach kept the temperature around 65 while it was 37' outside. So I was pleased to say the least. The first day it was a late ring time so we were able to relax with lhasas in the xpens and a cup of coffee in my hand. It was great.

At the show on Saturday under Judge Jason Hoke, Stewie was the only dog entered and he was Winners Dog. Then he received Best of Winners, which meant he picked up 1 point from the bitches.
So he now is sitting with 11 points all majors done and needs 4 singles. He actually stood like a seasoned show dog in a stack on the floor. He never stood still before. So I was very pleased.

Saturday night my nephew Ryan and his wife Sarah and their two boys- Abel and Eli came and played with puppies. They lived so close to where we were that they rode their bikes and rollerblades over to the fairgrounds. Cool! It was nice that they came and thanks for doing that.

Sunday it was raining on and off all day. There were no points in either dogs nor bitches so I did not show Stewie. Karen and LaVonne showed their bitches because there was an Owner Handler group and Puppy Group. Karen and mine bitch Penny, received Best Owner Handler Lhasa Apso and LaVonne's bitch Misti received Best Puppy Lhasa Apso. Karen and Penny did not get anything in the Owner Handler Non Sporting Group. LaVonne and Misti got a Group 3 Puppy Non Sporting Group.

The photo here is of Stewie and his littermate Penny at the Northeast Wisconsin Cluster. On this day Stewie was Winners Dog and Best of Winners for points and Penny was Winners Bitch and Best of Breed Owner Handler. She always does well in Owner Handler. So the April Fools weekend was fun with friends and wins. Karen who is showing Penny(on the end), Joyce and Lavonne all stayed at my house for the cluster. I cooked and we had a great time. Thanks to Col. Joe B Purkhiser for these wins.

So for the first weekend out - it was a good one. My MOM did well with a few little issues that were easily solved. So in two weeks we are off again Stewie and I. Rosie will be coming with this time. So look for her report after Mother's Day.
